Today we’re showing you how to make an easy industrial wall planter by hacking the inexpensive IKEA Hyllis metal shelf and adding some wood shelves and plant pots. (No IKEA nearby? You could use a length of metal angle from the hardware store instead.)

This is an easy way to add some popular industrial style to your home by giving your houseplants a new home at the same time! Use faux greenery for a maintenance-free “garden” (we won’t tell your secret!) or you could even use the plant pots as organizers for office supplies or other small items.
